I saw this challenge awhile back on Amy Tan’s blog, and knew I wanted to play along – and decided October would be the month! I saw this lovely in Marcy Penner’s shop and thought it would be perfect. I got it a couple weeks ago and played around with the cover a bit.

Here’s what I came up with!

Even though today is October 2nd, I am making it Day 1, because there is 31 days in October. And also, because my friend Kim took engagement pics of us today and it would be a really good way to start with my self-portrait
